Step 1Use the saliva collector to sweep the inside of your mouth, focusing on the cheeks, gums, and tongue.
Step 2Hold the swab inside your mouth for 3 to 7 minutes, ensuring not to bite, suck, or chew on the sponge.
Step 3Remove the saliva collector and insert it into the saliva tube, pressing firmly to release the liquid. Ensure at least 0.5ml of liquid is collected.
Step 4Seal the cap of the saliva tube tightly and let it sit for a minute. Afterwards, invert the tube for 15 seconds to allow the specimen to settle.
Step 5Take out the test from its sealed pouch and place it on a clean surface. It's recommended to use the test within an hour of opening.
Step 6Unscrew the BLUE cap on the saliva collector and transfer three drops (around 120 μL) of fluid to the specimen well labeled "S" on the device. Start a timer once the fluid is transferred.
Step 7Wait for coloured bands to appear. The result is best read at 10 minutes, but should not be interpreted after 20 minutes.
